VDI also expresses support for initial pilot public schools in Laguna to utilize demo units of NComputing in their computer laboratory. Pabilla confirmed this in an initial discussion with Sta. Rosa CITO Head, Mr. Arnold B. Arcillas, after presenting him with an NComputing L300 unit.

NComputing allows extension of utilization of computer servers from 5-10 computers via a small peripheral where a keyboard, mouse and other basic devices can be connected thus saving in computer maintenance, power and hardware.

Installing NComputing in computer laboratories in schools including both private and public is very ideal particularly in computer laboratories. Consider if you need to provide computers to a section with 30-50 students and you want to achieve a ratio of 1 is to 1 is possible. That means you need to buy 30-50 computer units utilizing power and incusing future maintenance costs.

VDI also had an exhibit at its booth during the Laguna IT Jam 2015 featuring the latest models of NComputing as well as its KYan All-in-One Device. Registrants at the booth were given NComputing noterbooks as well, and an L300 NComputing unit was also raffled off.

We are looking forward to more events like this were we can tell everyone that there is a way to save on technology so that we can modernize and make Philippine education better,” says Pabilla.

This event has been sponsored by the City Government of Santa Rosa, Laguna headed by Mayor Arlene Arcillas and CITO Head, Mr. Arnold B. Arcillas. Attendance to the event was also made possible by Mark Anthony Wagan, a blogger and IT professional.
